Day 1. Meeting of the group at Sofia airport. Transfer to Velingrad - a journey to the heart of the Rhodopes. Stopping off to see the scenic rocks called "Milevi Skali" and sightseeing. We’ll have a picnic lunch nearby. Later on we will drive on to the spa mineral Velingrad. During the next days we’ll organise interesting and amusing outdoor activities exploring the beautiful countryside.

Day 2. After breakfast we’ll visit the nature reserve. We’ll enjoy the lovely wilderness, meadows and forests that are home to a rich flora and fauna. We’ll have a wildlife viewing and photo hunting for professional and amateur photographers. We’ll make a picnic lunch with traditional Bulgarian dishes.

Day 3. After breakfast, we’ll choose mountain bike trials or we’ll have an off road expedition exploring the enchanting Rhodopes mountain. We’ll have a picnic lunch in the mountain with a tasty foods and selected drinks. Then we’ll visit the resort Tzigov Tchark situated at the dam-lake Batak. There are fishing opportunities. If you wish we can offer you a boat excursion (not included in the price). Accommodation and diner.

Day 4. After breakfast, we’ll choose mountain bike trials or we’ll have an off road expedition trough the Rhodopes Mountain. We’ll have a picnic lunch at the little dam-lake called Toshkov Tchark with tasty foods and selected drinks. Then we’ll get a beautiful Rhodopes' dam-lake called Shiroka poliana. There are fishing opportunities. Accommodation and diner.

Day 5. After breakfast, we’ll choose mountain bike trials or we’ll have an off road expedition trough the Rhodopes mountain. We’ll take a picnic lunch enjoying the mountain with tasty foods and selected drinks. Then we’ll get a resort village Sarnitca situated at the dam-lake Dospat. Accommodation and diner.

Day 6 and Day 7. During the next two days you are on a boat fishing trip along the Rhodopes' dam-lake Dospat.

Day 8. After breakfast you are in an adventurous bike tour to the village Kovachevitca – a unique village-museum with well preserved Bulgarian national architecture, picturesquely situated in the heart of the Rhodopes Mountain. We’ll have a traditional style lunch.

Day 9. After breakfast transfer the group to Velingrad. We’ll have a lunch at the biggest karsts spring in Bulgaria – "Kleptuza". Time for rest and mineral spa relaxation or for swimming in a pool with hot mineral water.

Day 10. Return to Sofia for a couple of hours, sightseeing, handcrafts shopping.

This package is like a (SP) but can be booked for one to four persons.

Accommodation and meals: Four nights to be spent in Sarnitca into an attractive and atmospheric hotel (SP) and (PP). The village Sarnitca is situated in the high mountain parts of the West Rhodopes in the shore of the enchanting dam-lake Dospat. Various kinds of fresh water fishes could be found in the dam-lake. Three nights are to be spent in Velingrad into an attractive and atmospheric hotel (SP) and (PP). Velingrad is one of the most famous and internationally popular spa resorts in Bulgaria, situated in the heart of the Rhodopes Mountain in an aged pine forest. There are 80 hot mineral springs and here is the biggest karsts spring in Bulgaria – "Kleptuza". One night is to be spent in a shore-situated hotel near the dam-lake Batak. One night is to be spent in shore-situated bungalows near the dam-lake Shiroka Poliana.

We will sample many traditional local specialties including "sofenka" - a delicious been salad, "cheverme" - roasted lamb, "bedi" - thick pancakes made from yogurt, flour, soda and butter. For breakfast we’ll offer you many local home made dishes like "banitca", yogurt, "sirene"- a local feta-type cheese, "tutmanik". Evening meals will be in restaurants and will include soup or salad, meat with potatoes or rice and vegetables and a dessert. There are several selected local wines that you may wish to try with your evening meal (not included in the price). Picnic lunches include toasts, cheese, roasted meals, salads and 5 bottles of wine.

Extra expenses: You will need to have about 10 € for entrance to swimming pools. About 50 € to purchase drinks with meals and traditional handcrafts. An extra boat trip will coast you 50 € per hour per 5 persons.

Special equipment required: Small backpacks, sun hats, walking boots or strong walking shoes, sunglasses and raincoats.

Meals included: All meals as from the dinner on day 1 to breakfast on day 10 are included.

Transport: All transfers are carried out by private bus. Bikes and off road are included.

Children: Children under the age of 12 are not accepted on this holiday.
